À propos de moi

I'm a theater artist based in Bangkok, Thailand. I'm very much involved with the theater scene in Bangkok. I love all kinds of art and culture, especially because they offer different perspectives to life and your ordinary days. I believe diversity is important to life and the world.

I wish one day I'll have my own place in Bangkok to host people. Not right now unfortunately

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

A friend recommended that I should try couchsurfing when I looked for accommodation. And it sounded to me like a fun way to find a place to stay, much more than browsing hotels and what not.
And so far it's only true and beyond!

I feel that couchsurfing is a very human platform and a genuine community that wants to see the world grow. The best part is it gives opportunity for people to learn about life and culture without the hassle of money - why should anyone be robbed of such a precious opportunity only because they can't afford hotels and stuff? And more importantly, the best way to travel is to skip the touristy surface and dive immediately into the point of view of a local person. To me, traveling becomes almost pointless if you cannot get in touch with the human and (real) cultural aspects of that country.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Too many to list. Among many other titles and authors, I love Toni Morrison, Graham Greene, Virginia Wolf, Paulo Coelho, Orhan Pamuk, and poetry.

Also books on cultural neuroscience and scientific anthropology. How the human minds work basically :)

Movies - woah...too many. Recent favorites are A Bigger Splash. Frida, Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, etc.

I usually like listening to jazz and music that has a "world" character to it. There are many things I love that I don't know the names of. And oh, The Beatles.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Being on the top of a mountain in Austria, in winter. Coming from where I am, such a scenery was totally breathtaking. Standing in the sea watching a sunset was also quite awesome - this was in Thailand.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I'd love to share with you the world of contemporary theater in Bangkok! It's amazing!

I'm learning German so I'd welcome any practice of that, too.

I occasionally respond to questions and requests regarding Bangkok. I don't do that when the inquiry is much too general and sweeping. I'm very passionate with contemporary art so if you opt for that in Bangkok, ask away!

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I can make some simple Thai dishes, or Ibring ingredients or food packages from Thailand :)

I'm an English teacher too, once in a while, so if you need help with that, especially with essay writing, I can be of help.

I can share with you my honest view of my country.
