I'm 23, Irish (wahey!) with a touch of German and Belorussian thrown in. I'm a recent graduate of Music, Media and Performance Technology specialising in filmmaking and video production.

I play the guitar, have been since I was 11 and saw Metallica live (I have seen them 6 times over the years and been too many concerts, music is very special to me) however I go through phases of not practicing. I am a filmmaker and like to film and edit things, love me some photography too and learning all about visual arts and storytelling through video and films. Chilling is awesome, as are said films, music, drinks with friends, interesting conversations and learning about new things, 420+ if that's your thing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, share new experiences, meet new people and hear their stories. Although I am new to this, I believe by sharing your home with a fellow 'surfer', you are opening up trust, respect and a part of yourself to a complete stranger who may in return become a good friend.

Friendships come at unexpected times and turns, and with the technology and tools we have available to us today, it has never been easier, ever, to meet new and different cultures and to make friends from all over the world this easily.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Radiohead, Queens of the Stone Age, Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Frusciante, Metallica (I grew up on them and other metal bands when I was younger, though I love to go back to my old school roots) just to name a few. I saw the Foo Fighters not too long ago in Slane, Ireland and they're so hot right now. - Zoolander

Movies: The Room (believe me, you got to watch this film!!), Requiem for a Dream (if there was any movie that I wish I made, I think it could be this one), anything by Aronofsky, Scorsese, Tarantino, Kubrick.

I have to say, one of the best films I have seen in recent times that truly blew me away from start to finish was Whiplash!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have skydived, cliff jumped, made a short film I am proud of, directed a theater play.. I guess that's more than one...

One of my dreams is to break my Burner virginity and experience Burning Man, 2016 will be my year!!

I used to teach an Indonesian man how to use a computer in college as part of his course, and the legend himself got an A1 :-D

What I Can Share with Hosts

First of all, of course I can offer you hospitality in my home in return if you are ever in the neighbourhood. No doubt about it.

I can offer you my warmest thank yous, a gift is always nice, help with food shopping & cooking, maybe bring some beers/wine if you are into that.

I can also teach you Irish slang, explain the difference between craic and crack (something every Irish person has to deal with abroad) and share a mighty cup of tea with you (I might be able to bring some Barry's tea on board with me)
