About Me
Hello there!
My name is Sascha and I am travelling by bicycle from my home country Germany to New Zealand, without taking a plane as long as possible.
Genuinely interested in meeting people from around the world, sharing different perspectives, debating and discussing opinions, enjoying time together and making amazing experiences. Besides, I love to dive in other cultures, languages, food and traditions and want to explore new places on a daily basis. My mission: Do something new every day!
As you can see, I am quite new to Couchsurfing, so if you may have any further suggestions, recommendations or tips, I would gladly like to hear about them :-)
I am 27 years old and have lived in Hamm in Northrhine-Westphalia for the last couple of years. My hobbies are, among others, playing basketball, badminton, the piano, and chess. And for obvious reasons cycling 🙂
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
From my point of view, it is the best way to get to know people and cultures in a non-touristic manner. It's an easy way to connect to others, to get in touch with the everyday life of locals and learn things from them that you cannot gather from the standard sources.
