Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Oleksandra — a 19-year-old Ukrainian medical student passionate about endocrinology, nutrition, psychology, and the incredible potential of the human body and mind.
I believe that true health begins with self-awareness, emotional balance, and conscious choices. I’m on a journey not just to become a doctor, but to live in harmony with myself — allowing joy, learning, movement, and meaning to flow freely into my life.
I enjoy quiet moments, deep conversations, long walks, and food that nourishes both the body and the soul. I’m an introvert, but I genuinely love connecting with people who share thoughtful, kind, and open-minded energy.
Traveling inspires me — I see it as a way to expand my worldview, meet beautiful souls, and feel more alive. I’m always curious to learn about new cultures, local traditions, and ways of living that are different from my own.
Let’s connect if you value meaningful conversations, growth, and living consciously. 🌍✨
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travel not to escape life but to experience it more deeply. Couchsurfing, to me, is not just about a place to sleep — it’s about people, shared energy, and kindness. I believe meaningful conversations, shared meals, and slow moments with locals create the real magic of traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love calm, emotional music — from indie acoustic to instrumental piano soundtracks. I enjoy movies that make you think and feel deeply, like The Secret Life of Walter Mitty or Soul. As for books — I read everything from medical nonfiction to gentle philosophical books about life, emotions, and self-connection. Currently reading: something about neurobiology or maybe a feel-good novel — depends on the day!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I joined a medical volunteer camp where I once was just a curious participant. Years later, I came back — not as a guest, but as a future doctor, helping and inspiring the younger generation. It was a full-circle moment that made me feel deeply connected to who I’m becoming.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share knowledge about nutrition, hormones, the nervous system, or the connection between emotions and the body. I’m always happy to talk about mindful eating, psychology, and body awareness. I’d love to learn more about your local traditions, language, and daily rituals — small things that show the soul of a place.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook simple but nourishing meals (and maybe even introduce you to Ukrainian flavors!), offer good company, meaningful conversation, and an open mind. I always bring respect, curiosity, and a warm heart. I clean up after myself and value peace and shared space.
