I love adventure. I love travelling far and wide, living, learning, and expanding my horizons. I'm very social, energetic, and wherever I go I will always strike up conversation, form new friendships, and widen my family circle. I tend to be very community-driven, striving to serve and assist however I can; from household chores to large-scale restoration projects, I'll bring conscience and care wherever I go. In short, I criss-cross the globe, cherishing every moment of camaraderie, connection, and amazement.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've ventured to almost every corner of the globe, and every new encounter gives me new insight, a new lesson learnt. I find the most memorable experiences are the most authentic, the most 'real,' so I always look to local life when going somewhere new. I suppose Couchsurfing, and other HospEx platforms, offer perhaps the most genuine, sincere travel-experience; and I always look to connect, to befriend, and to give back in any way I can.

Interests

Creativity courses through each moment of my life; self-expression, representation, reflection, I'm an artist, writer, and performer. I have a keen eye for style, and I'm tuned in to design, aesthetics, tone, presentation, and the ways in which forms influence feelings. I'm a percussionist, raised by the rhythms of hindustani sounds, bringing together the beats of pop and techniques of traditional instruments. In spite of my creativity, I've developed a keen knowledge of business, finance, and money-management, learning to situate my career in the working world. I'm an explorer who'll always try something new, enkindling new affinities.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pretty much anything haha, I read English classics, Jack Reacher novels, anything really. Music is the same, one moment my playlist is jazz, the next disco, followed closely by a baroque concerto! I like to explore.

I can teach just about anything, music, writing - having been extensively trained in English language to an advanced level - finance, animal handling, computer skills, even poetry! I love to share my skills, and see others grow and learn. In terms of learning myself, I'm always up for a new skill, a new task, a new project. I will go into anything with an open mind and a willingness to change it :)
