Hi! I'm a Russian-born New Zealander currently making my way around Canada, something I've wanted to do all my life. I love the outdoors and I like to think that I epitomise the kiwi stereotype of being a chilled out beach bum with an accent that is very easy to make fun of.
I'm fairly new to Couchsurfing but love to meet new people, learn about different cultures, and above all to share experiences with the people around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It gives me a chance to meet new people, and see parts of Canada I may not otherwise be able to experience.
My family took on couchsurfers, homestays, and an array of travellers while I was growing up and it seems to me to be the most intimate and fun way to see a foreign country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked as an outdoor activities instructor at a summer camp and helped prevent a class full of children in canoes from being blown over to the other side of a 20 kilometre lake.

I can teach quality New Zealand slang and some Russian, and love to share stories about travels, the outdoors, and other experiences.
I love to learn about different languages and cultures, and the best camping spots.
