Hello! My name is Sasha.

I love cooking and eating really amazing vegan food and attempting to enlighten my loved ones about healthy, conscious living that is good for animals and the planet. I very passionate about animal welfare/rights and therefore choose to consume no animal products. I am a bird and plant nerd and love to geek out on ID's while hiking. I also enjoy camping, fires, swimming, kayaking, exploring cities, eating, spinning fire (hoop), jamming (I play guitar & sing), dancing to house music, and those beautiful moments of pure human connection.

I am also very clean, responsible and respectful when it comes to sharing a living space. I love cooking for other people and sharing my food in general (it's how I show love) and love when people are really into sharing too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like many people, when I first heard of couch surfing I was pretty skeptical and it didn't sound right for me. But that all changed after experiencing a very couchsurfer-friendly house for about a year, my eyes were opened. I have met so many awesome people through couchsurfing, what an amazing platform for people to connect, share a community, and GIVE.
