I've been couchsurfing unofficially for years now, thought i'd give this site another chance.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Awesome. I've accumulated months of livingroom, couch, and spare-bedroom time in my travels. When I have a place, its gonna be wide open.

Interests

I love music. I DJed for years, recorded a waayyy too popular commercial rap song, and have been carrying my banjo for 7 years+. I love movies and the magic of imagination. Flight of the Conchords. Song production and recording (if you have a song, or want to make a new one, let me know). I like drinking, but not too much. I can smoke, but don't have to.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music: most hip hop I like, but any music can do it for me, especially if it is dynamic, vigorous, insightful, or funky. Nate Dogg, 2Pac, Gorillaz, Mos Def, Animal Collective, Little Dragon, Phantogram, The Roots, Yeasayer, Astronautalis, Buck 65, Blackalicous, Blockhead, Brother Ali, Daft Punk, DJ Shadow, the list goes on and on. (this list is years old but so good)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There was this cave in Bend, Oregon...
Getting my beard, moustache, and eyelashes burned during fire festival in Shaxi, Yunnan.
Dragging my Banjo around with me as I backpacked across china for 2.5 months (was this amazing, or amazingly silly...not sure)
Ummm getting 1 million views on a stupid music video about beer.
UPDATE: I have dragged my banjo around for 6 years now.
UPDATE: I'm good at banjo now. Enough people have said that or clapped their hands that I feel comfortable writing it on Couchsurfing.
