About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy what life offers, experience new things.
ABOUT ME
Well I like to explore and experience new things and get excited about random things (like fruit bats in the park)... I like to laugh and hear interesting stories. I also like to be silly and not take things too seriously, if I can help it.
PHILOSOPHY
Live with integrity, appreciate nature, respect others, have fun and try to live more in the moment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I couch surfed a couple of times in Europe, and now I am back home and would like to meet some travellers in Sydney, hopefully I could suggest some good things to do here!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Not very extensive (only stayed two nights at different locations) but it was fun and interesting, and I think it is very generous that people offer to host others :)
Interests
My interests include travel, cooking, eating out, walks out in nature, dogs, animals in general, plants, art, music, festivals, reading, watching British comedy, watching tennis and playing it and squash even though I'm totally uncoordinated, neuroscience, history (especially Roman history)...

Music, Movies, and Books
movies: I often forget the details but here are some I liked- memento, into the wild, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, little miss sunshine, the motorcycle diaries, the king's speech, the iron lady, lord of the rings (all), american beauty, bunny and the bull, monty python and the holy grail.
music: the black seeds, fat freddy's drop, florence and the machine, muse, toots and the maytals, ziggy marley, modest mouse, ladytron, the strokes, the shins, katchafire, kasabian, the doors, tame impala, cloud control.
Books: the brain that changes itself, harry potter, shantaram, tuesdays with morrie, jane eyre, the white tiger, the happiest refugee.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
These would mainly be moments in nature I guess, ok so a recent one was at a place called Monteverde in Costa Rica where my friend and I treked for around 3 hours to this delightful waterfall. Nobody else was there and we went swimming in the icey water, with the sounds of the forest all around. Perfect moment.
Also, some memories of the Northern Territory in Australia. Laying in a dry river bed in the desert at night and watching shooting stars.
Teach, Learn, Share
Did you know that you can tell if a bat is a hunter if it has large ears and a pouch/basket thing under its legs? I learnt this at a totally cool bat museum. First random fact that came to mind.
