CURRENT MISSION

I want to travel the world!! I want to meet new people and discover new cultures. I've been living in Europe for almost 8 months and I haven't traveled much. I'm leaving soon so I'm trying to see as many things as possible!!

I'm very loud, friendly and outgoing. i would like to think i'm funny but it depends if you have a sense of humor or not! I love animals, sports, and reading is my passion. I'm going to University next fall to be a journalist!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed only in Milan when i first arrived because I lived too far outside of the city to do anything fun at night. I loved the whole experience of it and now I have loads of friends right in the city who let me stay the night whenever! But unfortunately i haven't done it enough to work up any references :(

I'm on couchsurfing because to be honest, living on an Au Pair budget is HARD. Almost impossible to travel so staying in hostels and hotels are out of the question. I also really enjoy getting the in depth view of cities from a local's perspective. I want you to show me the best small cafes to get breakfast and all the small little treasures a city can provide.

I always have a book in my hand although I do go through periods of time where I'm glued in front of my computer with a new Netflix show. I've very intrigued by other people's lives which i know sounds kind of strange but I love meeting new people and hearing about the kinds of things they've been through

I listen to A LOT of music but most of it are artists no one has heard of. For example, my all time favourite band is the English indie rock band The 1975. It's very slow and sad which is bizarre because i'm a very upbeat happy person! I also like the normal cliche artists of girls my age - John Mayer, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Michael Buble. All of which are equally amazing and talented.

I've seen too many movies and have read an infinite amount of books. I have read all the Nicholas Sparks, of course. But over the years I've started to notice my books have transitioned from romance to more history. I can read anything.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I chose to drop everything after high school, leave my family for the first time ever in 18 years and travel the world by myself. I think that's pretty amazing. Only 2 kids from my small town in Michigan chose to travel rather than head to school and I haven't regretted a single day. This has been the best experience of my life and i would recommend it to anyone.
