About Me

I am the kind of a person who cannot stay in one place for too long, constantly feeling the urge to run away somewhere new, discover new destinations and new cultures. It would be fair to say I'm a languages-, photo- and good food-addict :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has brought some of the most interesting people I've ever met to my life (including my husband-to-be :P)!

Interests

Foreign languages, boxing and martial arts in general, photography, vegan/vegetarian food and especially burgers, good cinema and music, world cuisines, travelling, more travelling, making art, making the place I live in cozy, national drinks, those little cozy bars and cafes, hidden from touristic spots, with their special atmosphere, and... some more travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now first bands that come to my mind are Alt-J, Husky Rescue, The Dø, You say party! We say die!, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Sean Nicholas Savage, I have also been listening to good old Nina Simone and Etta James a lot recently. But I do love all kinds of music, both old and new stuff.
My favorite movie of all times is Amelie, but in general I can say I love movies with good atmosphere and good music.
As for the books, my absolutely favorite one is "One Hundred Years Of Solitude", I also love "Zorba the Greek", "The Teachings of Don Juan" and basically anything written by Remarque.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Escaped a small town in the middle of Siberia to discover America when I was 16 - that was the beginning of my travelling addiction :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Not to brag, but I make the most amazing milkshakes you'll ever try ;)
And I'm always curious to discover some interesting phrases in your native language, national cuisine dishes and maybe some typical for your country cocktails? If you're visiting Poznań and are interested in vegan/vegetarian food, be sure I'll show you the best places in town ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I got looots of stories to tell and yummy food to cook and little drawings to draw and Russian phrases to teach :)
