I believe life is about the experiences you have and the people you connect with and I am so grateful for this community and the opportunities it creates to accomplish both of those things.

I am an alternative medicine practitioner, professional ballroom dancer and real estate investor. This has granted me the flexibility and opportunity to travel every month for both business and pleasure. I have been 20+ countries, and most states in the USA. While my career often puts me in a glitz and glamour environment, I am a hippie at heart, and prefer my travel to be a bit more connected to local culture and often a little rough and tumble. Read: waking up in a car in Iceland, during late October, in the freezing cold, under a waterfall. Anything involving the outdoors, unusual events, great music, an opportunity to dance, and a crazy adventure is right up my ally.

Besides dancing, I am also passionate about art and expression. I sing and write music and am learning to play the guitar and electric violin. I also enjoy photography and creative writing. My mornings start with a run around the lake by my house, and ends with a meditation session on the back porch paired with a cup of matcha tea. Movement makes my soul sing. I was a fencer for 9 years, and am always down for a game of volleyball. I enjoy partner acro and fire spinning. I speak fluent Russian/English and less fluent French and Spanish.

I don't drink or smoke, but have no issues with other's preferences. I lean toward a plant based life style. For me, it is about mental clarity and a positive energy. I will talk with you about everything from creative expression, to spirituality, travel, sports, business, and great books.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im excited to be a part of this community. There is no better way to get to know an area than to roll with locals. Although I can't always accept guests, I would be happy to show visitors some of the local highlights of Nashville and surrounding areas, though I'm still new to the area from NY/NJ/PA. Always interested in meeting up with locals of other countries while traveling too!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I haven't seen too many movies because I prefer books, but my favorite movie is inception and limitless.

Books: Favorite books include "the alchemist" "the flower of life" and way too many more to list. Anything with interesting new world perspectives or valuable lessons.

Music: Im a fan of EDM, Classical remixes, and most things in between.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh boy, where to begin...

I've had the opportunity to ride a horse through the ocean, race with dolphins on a trimaran, hang off some pretty gnarly cliffs, sleep under waterfalls, and see some of the most amazing stars in the world.

I've also quite my job, to go on a boat trip, with the intention of helping establish a polyamorous sustainable community on an island in Indonesia, only to land at shore and learn I was a missing person.

Then there's the time I nearly died due to being drenched in the rain, with no accommodations or change of clothing, in the middle of nowhere right before a glacier climbing trip.
