Movies: Mild film geek stuff (Coen Bros, Woody Allen, Tarentino, Kaufman.
Music: Indie rock, rock, rap, jazz, classical, some country.
Books: I'm a lit major, so, lit! Also I love more scientific non-fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I LOVE food. Some random Sasha Food Facts: I used to teach at a cooking school when I was a teenager. I'm a beer brewer. I've roasted large numbers of whole animals for Celtic harvest festivals.

One of the best experiences I've had was "couch-surfing" (before I heard of the site) at the invitation of a random Moroccan guy I shared a cab with years ago. I was a little uncertain, cause I knew nothing about him and we barely spoke a common language, but I had a great and fascinating time.
