About Me

🖐 Hi! My name is Alexander, but I prefer people to call me Sasha. I am originally from Izhevsk, Russia, but currently living in Serbia. It's really weird to mention it, but it seems it's necessary nowadays – I'm not putin supporter and I'm against the war with Ukraine.

💗 I love travelling. I love meeting new people, listen to their stories, share mine.

🌎 I used to travel mostly hitch-hiking, but 5 recent years I'm into cycling and touring by bicycles 🚲. My friends and I toured across Japan, Britain, Netherlands, France. I also recently had an mountains tracking experience, it was harder then bike touring, felt absolutely different and breath-taking. So if are interested in these ways of travelling we are definitely have what to discuss.

🥦 I am vegetarian. I don't care, if you are not.

🎤 I used to play in a hardcore punk band. I don't mind if you are into another music.

🍷 I like wine and beer. If you show me your favourite local one, I would appreciate it.

💫 I hope that one day people can exist without borders and goverments and their relationships will be based on mutual respect. But for now it is an utopia. So only we can do now is to find good people, good friends and trying not only take from this world and people to make profit as we were learned, but to give and share with each others.

Music, Movies, and Books

Harper Lee - To Kill a Mockingbird
Kurt Vonnegut - Slaughterhouse-Five, or, The Children's Crusade: A Duty-Dance with Death
Dostoevsky - Karamazov Brothers
Frank Herber - Dune

I listen to a lot of different music: punk rock, metal, jazz, hip-hop (mostly old school stuff), indie rock, reggae, electronic music. Trying to be open to something new.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

You stay on the route somewhere in the place you don't know surrounded by hills and fields and try to catch a car to lift you. You feel like you're a part of this planet, and it can't be more impressive.

P.S. Once I took birth of 5 kittens of my parents’ cat. Pretty impressive, huh?

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you a couple of chords on guitar or ukulele and teach a couple of russian words (not necessary bad language =) ).
If you come to my hometown in summer, let's go somewhere by bicycles, I could find one for you.
