Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've hosted people in Portland and I've embarked on two CS journeys around Europe for around 13 months in total. I travel to meet people and to eat/share wonderful food :)

I'm not sure what I enjoy more, surfing or hosting... why not both?
I started my CS experience by hosting several years ago at my place in Portland. It was me and 3 other roommates in a house with a huge living room that had 2 couches and a futon. After just the first surfer, I was hooked. I immediately became great friends with each person that came to visit and I still have lasting relationships with most of them.
Fast forward a few months and I started my first European CS adventure. First host was in Oslo, Norway in a small suburb. Tons of stories, cooking for each other, exploring the city, again I was instantly hooked. I traveled from Norway to Sweden to Germany to Czech Republic to Hungary to Croatia to Italy to France and finally back to Sweden for my flight home. I made countless friends along the way and traveled home filled with inspiration and wonderful stories. I just want to stay connected to all the awesome people that make up the CS community amazing :)

Interests

I spend a lot of time messing around with music and music related ventures. I love getting people pumped about music (especially making it) and opening eyes to new artists and styles. I thoroughly enjoy food (making and eating) and I love to share my findings with the people around me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a music producer, pianist, and general audio tech sort of guy. I'm particularly adept a doing sound design with synthesizers. I actually have a youtube channel where I provide tutorials for people using a program called Reason.
