À propos de moi

Hey all!

Just a note that we get A LOT of couch requests each week. We absolutely love hosting and we do our best to organize potlucks and outings while we have guests with us. Right now, we're in more of a meet up and hang out than a host phase.

While we're happy to share what we have, we really appreciate when couch surfers offer to make dinner when they stay with us or take an active role in doing dishes and other things along those lines. Otherwise hosting so many people drains on us really quickly and we end up hosting less often. So yea... do your part and be a great guest so that we host more often :)

ABOUT ME

"A stranger is a friend that I've yet to meet."

I moved back to New York a few years ago after traveling and work through different parts of Europe and Africa. I am becoming reacquainted with my community and trying to make as much of an impact as I can.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I've couchsurfed a bit in Europe, the US and Africa and have had nothing but positive experiences. For me, it's the best and only way to travel!

Now that there is slightly traveling in my life, I'm happy to pay it back by hosting when possible.

Centres d'intérêt

Making the world a better place and meeting incredible people while doing so.

I used to want to have the number of countries that I've visited equal my age. I'm way past that so I need a new goal now. Double my age, perhaps?

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Some of my favorite books include What is the What by Dave Eggers and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathon Safron Foyer.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Take risks and laugh along the way.

Traveled by bus with two friends from Nairobi to Bukavu. We stayed with friends and their families along the way and experienced a wild Christmas frisbee game in Kampala.

Climbed the highest mountain in the Indian Ocean.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I will go out of my way to include you in the fun things that are taking place in the city. I'll draw you a map and give you suggestions on where to go. I'll introduce you to my friends so that you can hang out with them while I'm busy if you'd like.

If you've got an idea for a project or a business or a plan to do great things, I'm a good person to sit down with to figure out how to get the ball rolling or put your dreams into action.
