COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Paris and USA! It was exciting.
Also I participated in Athens CS pic-nic!

Interests

I love music and theatre. I am also interested in contemporary art, cinema, computer science, architecture, urbanism, theory of evolution, philosophy and psychoanalytic theory, Asia, languages, parties and cooking!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music of all genres and directions. Among my favorite composers there are Morton Feldman, Valentin Silvestrov, Galina Ustvolskaya, Dmitry Schostakovich, Astor Piazzolla, Kurt Weill and Eric Satie. Also I love many non-classical musicians and composers from Anouar Brahem, John Coltrane and Leonard Cohen to SoCalled, Underworld and M.I.A.

Also I am interested in traditional forms of music from arond the World. Most of Ocora label recordings are awesome.

Now my favourite film directors are Tsai Ming-Liang, Harmony Korine and Werner Herzog. In the past there were Alejandro Jodorowsky and Derek Jarman.

Among my favourite writers are Julio Cortazar, Lyudmila Petrushevskaya, Charles Bukowski, Leo Cohen and Eduard Limonov.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- four months all-around India trip
- some via ferrata paths in Brenta Dolomites
- blackout in Lower Manhattan after hurricane Sandy
