Hey, I'm Sasha -an armchair psychologist, a fake philosopher, and a curious traveler. I am interested in pretty much anything and everything - if you like to talk about something, I would like to listen to it. I'm the kind of person that likes to talk to everyone and learn a little bit about them, so anywhere I go, where people speak English, I will talk to them.

While traveling, my favorite things are green areas (parks, nature, hikes) and architecture. I'm so-so about museums, and not really interested in the nightlife. I prefer a good night's sleep to a loud night out, and my favorite amenity anywhere is a blender, so I can make myself healthy smoothies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I took time off work to travel the world for a year before I settle down and commit to my career in the 'States. I had some friends who said that this site worked for them, and while I'm a cautious person, I'm willing to try anything once. I like to meet new people, and I love local recommendations for places to eat and things to do.

When I was in Bearizona (an outdoor zoo in Arizona, USA), I leaned out the window of the car and touched a bison. I scared it and it almost ran at the car, but it didn't.
