About Me

I'm a graduate student from Singapore, just at the tail end of grad school. I study monkeys in Thailand. Yup. I'm studying a special group of monkeys that live on an island, and use stones to crack open oysters and other shellfish they find on the beach. It's a primatology, and a little bit of anthropology, and then it all gets a bit nerdy from there so i'll only say more if you're interested! I also love the outdoors and getting active, rock climbing, yoga, diving when I get the chance. I love exploring food, and have been pescetarian (mostly vegetarian but also eats fish cos sushi, bit of a sell out i know) for several years now. I love/need coffee. I love animals and have a cat and a dog, if you have a pet at your place I would be very much drawn to couchsurfing with you haha.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't couchsurfed much (went for a meetup while on student exchange some years ago, and hosted a guy in my country once) but am starting up again as I'm having to travel a fair bit for conferences as a poor graduate student who's run out of funding. I will repay in food, and if you have a kitchen I can try to whip some things up!

dec 14, 2008 - hosted/met up with Sven here in Singapore (:

jan 11, 2009 - participated in Full Moon hike
