About Me

I am a 24 year old Australian, just completed my undergraduate in international politics and travelling for a few months around Europe before settling down in the UK for a couple of years!
I love to travel and meet new people and am extremely keen to become a part of the couchsurfing community!
My interests include all things food and wine, music, culture, politics and history. I love chatting over a glass of wine and sharing stories.
I am very approachable and considerate!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of sharing a space with likeminded people and being able to understand a city through the perspective of a local! I love learning new perspectives and continuously challenging my own.
The community needs more kindness, hopefully I can return the favour when I have a place of my own!

Interests

Food has always been a huge part of my life and is always a part of why I love to travel. Growing up my father was a chef so food was always a major family focus. I appreciate any and all recommendations and of course food is always better when shared!
One of the greatest loves of my life has always been music! After playing a lot of instruments growing up, as I’ve aged my passion has turned more towards listening and going to see live music. I love to dance so am always looking for places where I can have a boogie.
Studying at University I pursued my passion for international politics and cultural relations. I am always fascinated by different political opinions and understanding the politics of a new country. If politics isn’t your thing, it’s not the end of the world! I also love art and culture :)

I spent a year living and studying in Montreal where I began learning to speak French.

I can share with my hosts my passion for the ‘new’ and hopefully a meal!
Also, of course, a good conversation and some good old australian horror stories ( sharks and spiders included).
