Hello!
I'm Saskia and I am from the Netherlands. I have been living in Japan for 3 years. These 3 years, I lived in Fukui prefecture as an English teacher at a super academic high school. Now I moved to Kyoto city to work at a traditional dyeing workshop. 8 years ago, I also lived in Kyoto, but as an exchange student for 6 months at Kyoto University.
I used to host a lot when I lived in Fukui prefecture, since I had a huge apartment. However, my apartment in Kyoto is very small, so unfortunately, I am not able to host anymore. I am down to meet up with people though!
Random fun fact: I have diabetes type 1 since I was 13 years old. Whoop whoop auto-immune diseases, am I right?

Movies: Finding Nemo, Interstellar, Mean Girls, Deadpool. I don't like horror though.
Books: I like books that take me to a completely different world, like Harry Potter or the Hunger Games.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Participating in a tv-program back in the Netherlands for family problems and in that program I did canyoning, jumping of 7 meter high cliffs, abseiling, sleeping in the wilderness with no tent. It was the best decision of my life.
