Overview
About Me
I am a recently graduate of Molecular Biology from the University of Sheffield, UK. Now that I'm graduated, i feel it's finally time to see as much of the world as possible! I have always wanted to travel, experience new cultures, hear stories, see the world and diversify my own views and experiences! I love to meet new people and appreciate new surroundings.
I've spent the last year backpacking around Denmark and Spain and would love to share stories!
I am also a passionate climate change activist and have been campaigning at my university for the last three years. Therefore, I'd also love to pick up a few climate change solutions/ideas as I travel! Im building a website to showcase climate solutions and support climate activists. Im thinking it would be really cool to hook up with some sustainable organisations along the way, and interview them for the website (or just be inspired!).
Fun facts about me:
-Ive spent the past 3 months in an international school for social change.
-Very passionate about climate change.
-Can scuba dive
-Love animals, insects and plants - Id love to tell you some cool facts!
-Love adventures, big and small (for example, sleeping in a cave, and swimming with bio-luminescence at midnight in Denmark!)
-I am an online tutor, and love playing games with children
-Have been a lifeguard for 2 years, and am qualified at first aid
-Absolutely love to hear stories of different cultures and experiences, and tell some of my own.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really want to meet lots of people whilst I travel. I always find myself inspired and invigorated after meeting fellow travellers. I love that we can make friends with people of any age, in any country around the world! And I love to meet local people and share culture, food, and stories! I currently aim to couch surf around Spain, and later, once I've built some confidence, i want to continue to the rest of Europe... and maybe even Asia, Africa and South America...
For a long time, I have been doing Workaways, but couchsurfing is better for being more flexible, and I cant wait to join all the cool Couchsurfing events!

Music, Movies, and Books
Tricky question!
My favourite song is "Always look on the bright side of life" due to the fun memories of singing it with friends.
Movies are Avatar (the blue people, although I also love the cartoon)
I love loads of fantasy and adventure books. But my favourite books are lives throughout political and social situations. I highly recommend "In Order to Live" about a woman's escape from North Korea and "The mountains sing" about living though many tragedies in Vietnam.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went scuba diving in England, and got hugged by a wild seal! I also won a competition to have my voice heard in the UN for sustainable education advocacy (although it was only a minute long video!).
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help teach English if you are interested- I've actually been a science, English and maths tutor for some years now.
I absolutely love to cook; meat, vegetarian or vegan! Though I'm a vegetarian myself.
I would also love to share some British culture and weird university stories!
I would love to learn about local customs, places to visit, food and stories. I would also just love to hear all about your life!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share language, skills, cooking, and passion for climate activism. I also love to ramble about weird animals, insects, biotechnology and microbiology, if you are interested in that kind of thing!
But what i hope to share most is experiences, good times, and memories!
