About Me
Hey! My name is Saskia Mulder and I am a student and I have just finished high school and am taking a gap year before starting uni.
I am very excited to be travelling this year with my boyfriend and hope that you will be happy to have us as your guests when we’re travelling :) I am an outgoing person who is enjoys exciting adventures as well as simple things like hanging out and getting to know others. I have many interested as I love to be involved in as many activities as possible so throughout the past years I have joined choirs, ensembles, dance classes, language classes and sports teams (even if I have no hand-eye coordination!)
I also love to travel and have been doing so with my parents from a young age!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am always looking to meet new people and experience different cultures from around the world. I think that Couchsurfing is such an awesome program as it allows people to be immersed in the culture of the area they are visiting, not just seeing the crowded tourist destinations and to host people from all around the world, hearing their stories and sharing the favourite things about your home town. I also hope to make friends and connections through Couchsurfing that will allow me to travel, stay with or have people stay with me from all around the world.
I’ll be travelling through Europe from August- November so if you live in Europe and I host you maybe I can come stay with you when I’m in Europe!
Music, Movies, and Books
I don't have an exact favourite music taste, but I love many different artists and genres and I love adding new songs to my favourite summer album!
I'd love to read books 24/7 and love many types of books ranging from cheesy romcoms to dystopian futures, to long series of books such as Game of Thrones (which I have unfortunately just finished until the next book comes out!). And movies I'm the same! I'll happily watch a rom-com and an action flick in the same sitting :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked through Kakadu national park
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my friendly nature and always bring a smile to any occasion! I will be happy to help out in any way that I can around your house and even bake fresh cookies and cakes whenever you want! If there's a guitar (or a ukelele) at your house we could have a small talent show of sorts and I'd love to share some Australian culture of sausages on the barbie and bring over some gifts from down under :)
