About Me

I’ve realized no one really has anything figured out and am trying to take everything as it comes along.
I’ve started traveling quite early one, with my parents whisking me away to New Zealand when I wasn’t even four weeks old.
Staying at home for too long I get restless and itch to get away and dive into a new country again. I’m fascinated with the different cultures and respective personal learnings every country has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think its an amazing travel opportunities, because staying with locals changes the feeling of a whole trip.
Every time I’ve visited friends in different countries I loved staying with them as it gives you a different view of a culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am constantly reading if I have the time so Harry Potter, Ken Follett's Century Trilogy.
Apart from novels some of the best books I’ve read in recent month have been „The four agreements“ and „things you learn only when you slow down“.
I’ve also been obsessed with podcasts for a while, religiously listening to deliciously Ella’s podcast, Rachel Brathens „From the Heart“ and Laura Seilers „happy, holy & confident“
Same for the movies, but the first one's that come to mind and recently really touched me are Good Will Hunting and the theory of everything.
I also like germany historical material like 'Deutschland 83', 'Ku'damm 56'

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Basically all the experiences I've had while living and travelling abroad, especially the one week Roadtrip on the Garden Route in South Africa including a Bungee Jump, visiting an ostrich farm, playing pool every night as well as the beginning of a wonderful new friendship.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hm what can I teach? I could offer the few cooking skills I have, that luckily do include typical German/ Swabian dishes.
I'm sure sharing a home with people offers so much to learn, for the host as well as the surfer.
I'd be happy to share my experiences abroad as well as the stories that I remember from those times.
