ABOUT ME
I was born in Assen, moved to Groningen and after 7 years moved to Rotterdam where i now live for 2 years. The side job i liked most (in Groningen)was at a special beer and whiskey cafe. So if you like beer or whiskey, i can tell you a lot about it! Working at the bar made me an really easy-going and sociable person. Besides that i am an curious person en i enjoy having conversations with people and learning about new interesting subjects.
For me, traveling is so much more interesting when you mix with local people and learn about their culture.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy getting to know new people. I am open-minded and i like to meet people who also would like to discover the local culture like finding non-touristy spots!
I really love to hang out in a park or a pub to drink beers and have nice conversation. I like clubbing and dancing as well, but not that often.
I think CS is amazing and is a tool to make cultural exchange easier in your travels and connect with like-minded people from different countries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went for two months to Africa(Kenya and Tanzania, Zanzibar)! Did some development work in Kenya, went to Zanzibar for vacantion. I stayed at the countryside of Kenya, didn't had a shower, toilet or normale place to stay ( stayed 6 weeks in a tent) and loved it! The people in Kenya are very friendly and i've learned a lot from them.
