Overview
About Me
We are travelling in Feb and March 2016 so we won't be able to host anyone then! Looking forward to meeting some fellow CSers in BsAs and Santiago...
CURRENT MISSION
Mission on track: To travel every year of the rest of our lives.
ABOUT US
I'm kind of an intense person, easy to know, hard to get to know, generous, calm on the outside, wild at times, creative thinker. I like to surprise myself, and others. Push things to the limit. E, my partner, is easygoing, friendly, works in IT, loves cheese. An unexpected wierdo at times.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm still working on it...something about living in the moment...living intensely...approaching life as an experiment...being joyous, outrageous, thinking independently, politically.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've couch surfed and hosted a number of people. I try to respond to all requests and encourage people to maintain a sense of community (not just about somewhere to crash). I've hooked a few individuals in, too.
I never used to book accommodation ahead, but that's changed! Now I have a hotel fetish. Still, hooking up with fellow couch surfers is well worthwhile. It certainly enhances my travelling experiences beyond what you could plan for. And I've had some of the best people stay with me : )

Music, Movies, and Books
It's all about South America now. We're flying to Chile and Argentina in February, then cruising home via Tahiti. Reading about architecture and design; watching: Orange is the New Black, Spanish language movies; eating: ramen, sashimi, chicken burgers, salad, nutriblasts.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a night in the jungle on an island in Thailand.
Burning Man! Like landing on another planet - what the world might be like without cash. Rollerskating with Zombies, fight club, bmx stunts, frozen margaritas in the desert - all for a total of $9!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a therapist. Ian's in IT. Need your internet hooked up? Relationship need some sparkle?
What I Can Share with Hosts
Ian and I enjoy our travel experiences by sharing in the cultures of the people who live there. We can share our fascination and curiosity about everything new. We like to cook good food and try our skill at the local specialties. I can talk about anything. Ian talks to everyone. We both listen. Hopefully we'll share a hatred of neoliberal capitalist greed and a vision for a socially just world.
