About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to ease your pain - one drink at a time
ABOUT ME
Just moved to Manila to finish graduate school after living and working in Kuala Lumpur.
Love trading cultures, always curious about people. I'll try most things once. Except for curry laksa and nasi lemak, which I could quite possibly live on.
As a matter of principle, I never say no to the promise of good conversation over coffee or vodka:)
PHILOSOPHY
Every cat leads to another.

Interests
Travel, all kinds of music (except for most country), theater, Bikram Yoga, movies, animals, rowdy evenings with tipsy friends, people watching, eavesdropping on random conversations - I know it's terrible but i'm always curious about other peoople's lives. Books - I'm a bit of a bookworm and I have a fairly large and varied collection of fiction and non-fiction. The beach - when I'm not there I'm always wishing I was there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I wouldn't say amazing but it was a cute thing to go through. Hanoi,Vietnam - I was bargaining down the cost of a bag with what looked like the daughter of the shopowner who was a student. She said she would give me 50% off if I helped her with her English homework. Best deal ever.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've traveled most of Southeast Asia and I'd love to help those traveling to this part of the world, especially those who plan to/are traveling within the Philippines and Thailand.
Manila - when taking a cab, always check if the meter is on (and always insist on paying fare by the meter) to save yourself from the potential hassle of a long-winded negotiation at the end of your trip
Bangkok - when going to Chatuchak weekend market, take the subway instead of the sky train. On the subway, DO NOT get down at Chatuchak Station, instead, hop off at Kampang Phaet station - where you can enter smack into where all the shops are and also save yourself a bit of a walk as well
