Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Don't forget to breathe while you're leaping.
ABOUT ME
I am fun, a touch whimsical, often irreverent, and I'll always find the silver lining. I have a solid sense of myself and I tend toward people who make me laugh, act with compassion, and constantly learn. I like to be surprised, and I like challenges. I'm usually as happy staying in as I am going out; good company and good chats matter more than location.
PHILOSOPHY
The little head rush I get while doing a front flip in water because I feel physically thrilled yet completely cradled and safe all simultaneously.
Choose who you are, and be someone you respect.
Dive deep before you come up for air.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host when I can, and wish y'all my best when I can't.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So many fantastic people! I've met many fun, fascinating people as well as dear friends through CS. It's been an invaluable social network and source of good times. I have mostly hosted but look forward to traveling more.
Interests
I'm interested in plants and meditation and design of all kinds. My work is to be a jack of all trades, so my interests and skills are all over the place. I like to run and to dance and to think about how to improve education and what it means to be part of a society.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Mostly fiction. Heavy stuff and light stuff--I just like to read.
Music-wise, I grew up on oldies, Motown, and classic rock--still love them all. I'll also take anything I can dance to, but especially blues and hip-hop.
TV: How I Met Your Mother
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I do every year is dancing in the street on Mardi Gras Day with everyone in beautiful costumes. Such a great sense of community and art.
Teach, Learn, Share
Honesty is good. Compassionate honesty is usually best.
I can teach someone about improv and comedy, building a team, cooking vegetarian food, meditation, and a little bit about plants.
