About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Decide which fork is the best one to take

ABOUT ME

I have been a tech entrepreneur, theater director, fine arts registrar, event planner and consultant. I currently run an organization called Design Without Limits and work with companies of all shapes and sizes on turning experiences into impact. I spent 31 days at the Satchidananda Ashram in September which is by far the coolest thing I've ever done. So I'm a yogi, theater lover, designer, foodie, traveler and explorer. I have lived in NYC for 10 years, but I love being everywhere.

I also have a TON of references on Airbnb both as a host and a guest. I have never had an apartment to myself (3-4 roommates) or that was big enough for an actual couch, so I have not been able to host yet - hopefully someday!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am backpacking through Europe from May 22nd to July 9th and I'm traveling solo. A) I don't want to be alone all the time B) I like living and hanging like a local wherever I go. I would love the chance to meet new people and cross new cultures. It excites me beyond belief! I honestly hate hotels, I always want to be living the way the locals do no matter where I am. Hope you'll have me:)

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite movie of all time is Moulin Rouge. I love too many books to list, but The Power of Now was a very powerful read recently. I read a lot of non-fiction because I simply love to learn. I LOVE it. I remember loving The DaVinci Code simply because it presented a whole new viewpoint on a widely accepted fact.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing things that I have ever seen are Michelangelo's David (hours I sat there), Duccio's Maesta, the Amalfi Coast and driving cross country solo for 15 days two years ago. Most epic experience of my life and I would do again a hundred times.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English, introduce you to meditation and yoga. I will also introduce you to Hamilton the Musical if you don't already know it! Then impress you with my terrible but accurate hip hop/rap.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I come with some amazing stories from a decade in New York City, time spent on a yoga ashram and generally searching, contemplating and failing (and sometimes succeeding) in life.

I practice yoga and meditation. I have some mean bartending skills. I know a little/enough about wine and even more about beer.
