About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Keeping up with my greed for travel is big on the list. There's also bunch of stuff about stages 1, 3, 4 and 5 of Valliant's theory of personal development that I'd rather not go into right now. Do look it up, if you have the change, there's a lot of work to do.
ABOUT ME
I'm still struggling to find the right haircut, happily busy at most times, always distracted, chatty, and never bored. I work with a business consulting firm in Bombay, where I used to live with my husband. Work has taken us to different continents, and we are powering through! I have what can only rightly be termed 'wanderlust' and I dream of living in Barcelona (edit: New York) one day.
PHILOSOPHY
There are no rules to this game, you make them up as you go. "Choose and Endure" is a phrase I use often inside and outside my head.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting, surfing, events... there’s a lot to do here and to some I have been able to contribute all of them at some point. I am looking forward to being part of this truly global community, make things easy for those visiting my country. You know I will :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met the best people here thus far and that inspires me to reach out to the rest of you.
Interests
Always up for good conversation, eager to learn, eager to share. I spend my time between movies, football, languages, dancing, music, cooking, photography and traveling and a whole host of other things that chomp away at my time.

Music, Movies, and Books
Joy is Music. I often float through phases of obsession with Carnatic, Sufi, old-fashioned Rock, alternative Rock, anything else with a good beat.
I've recently revived my appetite for reading. As with everything else, the spectrum is wide - food economics, fantasy, science, and Indian mythology are some of my ventures from this year.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm a city girl. I saw Bhutanese teenagers grooving to Sean Paul and Bollywood numbers in a club in Thimpu. Into the wee hours they danced and I couldn't help thinking how cultures are being created and moulded, all the time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can cook! I'd love to share some tips on cooking Indian food. Insights on India, Singapore and Oman. How to make paper wreaths, Martha Stewart style. I also know a few jokes.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Bhutan, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Malaysia, Netherlands, Philippines, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam
Countries I’ve Lived In
