HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am willing to host, as long as the timing is appropriate. As a teacher, my schedule can be very full. As far as my travels, I've CS'd in France, Spain, and Texas. I'm hoping to add to this list as I get older.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've CouchSurfed in Lyon, France; Barcelona, Spain; Madrid, Spain; Dallas, Texas. I had an unbelievably great time in all locations and hope it continues as I continue to participate in CSing.

Interests

I am open minded and willing to learn (although, Politics isn't really my strong suit. I'd be willing to sit and let you attempt to get me up-to-speed, though).

Music, Movies, and Books

A few of each:

Movies - The Time Travelers Wife, The Notebook, Harry Potter series, He's Just Not That Into You, Disney, Pixar, White Chicks, Moulin Rouge, etc ... Anything that makes me experience multiple emotions at once is a great film!

Music - friends make fun of me because I'm a strong advocate of slow jamz! I listen to love songs; slow, peaceful, and just ... phenomenal! I love strong vocals - Adele, Amy Winehouse, Florence + the Machine, Etta James, Sam Smith, Usher, Paloma Faith, Leanne La Havas, Mumford & Sons, etc

Travel!

I am also a sign language interpreter for many musical concerts; I've interpreted ACL Music Festival (Austin City Limits). I had the opportunity to interpret for artists such as Sam Smith, Iconoa Pop, Paolo Nutini, Lorde, Lana Del Rey, Belle and Sebastian, Broken Bells, Zoe' ... etc. I had the time of my life!

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy learning new things, and sharing what I know. I'm not very good with words, I'll admit. But I'm currently trying to learn how to express myself in a clearer fashion, especially when it comes to talking about my career. I like to listen and learn about what I don't know.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've got an office that I use as storage. You could have your own private space, but there isn't a mattress. However, I've got pillows and blankets 😉
