ABOUT ME

Just relocated to Australia, looking for awesome experiences down under!!

Previous: Settled down in Mexico, at some point I will update my profile lol

--------------------------------------

Hello, my name is Saul! :)

I am a 26-year-old Spaniard travelling around the world for a gap year.

In Europe, I am an engineer currently working in managing several engineering projects.
I have decided that now is the perfect moment to travel the world and live new experiences, since there is always time to go back and continue with my old life.

So far, my trip will start in the USA, but I don’t know where it will take me... After the States, my idea is to do some volunteering work in Latin-America and head to Australia and New Zealand. As I am in no rush and I intend for my journey to be long, I am willing to stay for some weeks in the places I visit, to truly take in their essence. During my trip I am seeking to work along the way, to help finance my travels and be of some help to the places I go.

I grew up in the north of Spain and then lived in Madrid for 6 years while attending university and working on my first job, for 6 months in Barcelona, for another 5 months in Brussels and then in London for one and a half years.
In my various experiences, I have lived with many different people: from students to elderly people of all ages and nationalities like Americans, Germans, Chinese, Australians, English, Danish, Polish, Italians, Belgians and Czechs. I have really enjoyed living with people from all walks of life, learning their languages and traditions and sharing mine with them.
This international background has influenced my social and open-minded behavior and has pushed me forward to travel the world and live as many experiences as possible.

I love to meet new people from different cultures and who speak different languages. I can actually speak fluent English and Spanish, and French at an intermediate level. I am currently learning some German as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
