ABOUT ME

I'm Saulo. I'm from Ouro Preto a historic city in Brazil, state of Minas Gerais. I' ve been working like a Journalist in a Orchestra.
Well, besides working, I'm doing a postgraduate course in Belo Horizonte. So, every monday, tuesday and wednesday, I'm going and coming back from Belo Horizonte to Ouro Preto.
I love music so much. I learned to play acoustic guitar, and I 've played for 12 years.
I like to know other cultures, but the black culture is the one that I'm most interested.
Like a Brazilian, I love samba, and many singer's like Cartola, joão Nogueira, Nelson Cavaquinho, Geraldo Filme, etc...

The last movie I had see that I really like was Det Sjunde Inseglet (The Seventh Seal), from Ingmar Bergman. I also enjoyed "Latcho Drom" about the life of the gypsies all around the world!
The last book that maked me a better person, and, for me, one of the best ones, was "O Grande Sertão Veredas" (English translation: The Devil to Pay in the Backlands)from Guimarães Rosa!
But music is my passion. Brazilian music, Jazz, world music and a little rock too...
