About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Do good, take pride in my life, help others, have fun, travel!

ABOUT ME

I'm responsible, laid back, mellow, and love to hang out.:-)

I am a credentialed teacher (multiple subject/ elementary level) in the state of California, US. Taught 3 years in California and in an international school in Mexico City. I am also a licensed medical speech pathologist and work in a hospital(with patients with strokes, traumatic brain injury, or head/neck cancer).

PHILOSOPHY

Cultivate mind and soul. :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Memorable (I prefer this description over "amazing") things done/seen:
Living and teaching first grade in Mexico City.
Waking up in the morning on the overnight train from Tangier to Marrakesh and looking out the window at the desert.
New Year's Eve in Kyoto, Japan.

Teaching and assisting in the rehabilitation of sick or wounded fellow humans who often more than survive and ultimately teach me more than I can ever teach them.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Medical speech pathology if anyone's interested. Basic Mandarin, Spanish.
Learn: most anything scientific or artistic
Share: I love to cook with people.
I have taken a few hours of basic massage courses. I'm no professional but if you're willing to play guinea pig and risk getting pinched a bit, I could use the practice.:-)
