I look forward to answering questions like "about me" as they give me a chance to introspect and think about myself, consciously. I always try to grapple with some thought or idea and like to think of myself as an "idea person" or rather as somebody who likes to know and learn about ideas. I believe in the idea that thought is a conscious exercise which, when undertaken helps one realize so much about the world. Its all up in the head for me! I am a student of economics and an easy to know person. I am somebody who does not believe in refraining any expression or thought at any moment of time. Sometimes, I end up talking to my individual self and I particularly find it a queer and an interesting habit. Thinking out loud here again, I guess.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wish to explore, watch, learn, unlearn, lose, debunk, find truths, and so many more things at the same time. The real reason is to find people like me. People who'd come close to what I seek to do.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music, I like to lose myself into the Beatles mania quite often. I love the Blues music and love to hear the legend, BB King. I deeply admire Eric Clapton and feel that if i were to express my thoughts and feelings to someone, i would choose Clapton quite naturally.

I am an avid reader. Most of my non-fiction readings are related to economics and political economy. One of the finest books that I have read, that instantly comes in my mind is, The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy and The Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie. I am somebody who is exploring the world of Russian literature with authors like Dostoevsky and Tolstoy slowly and gradually.

My love for movies ranges across multiple genres. There are so many movies that I liked and are my favorites.
