If you are always swimming against the current, you'll get tired too quickly. Find the place in the river where the water lets you pass. Instead of throwing yourself against walls, look for ways that open themselves.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If I had my druthers everyone would visit West Virginia and become infected with the immense swelling love I have for it, and maybe even one day turn into someone like me, a creekbed troll fighting to hang on to the goodness we've got here.

bioremediation (cleaning up toxic urban soils using natural organisms), brazilian Portuguese, cheesemaking, grant writing, biodiesel homebrew, fermentation (kraut etc.), worm composting, graphic design, farmers market organizing, making mystery boxes, secret messages... and I know lots of people in West Virginia.
