Hello there! My name is Savannah. I love to meet new people, share culture, and swap stories. Here's a little bit of background on me: I grew up in a small town in southern Oregon, with two loving parents, a younger brother, an older sister, and an energetic Labrador Retriever named Sadie. Two years ago I completed an academic exchange in Freiburg, Germany, and had the opportunity to travel and explore part of the European continent. In Germany I have had the privilege to meet and befriend people from all over the world, making it truly difficult to pick just one place called "home." It's a beautiful problem to have, no? :)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Although my experiences with Couchsurfing are not yet numerous, I really like the idea of providing a more authentic experience to travelers by allowing them to stay with locals for a short time. When I'm traveling, I tend to enjoy traditional touristy things a lot less and meeting locals a lot more. Meeting people from around the world and learning about their cultures has definitely been one of the most impactful experiences of my life so far, and I know I have so much more to learn!
