About Me
[IMPORTANT: I get a lot of couch requests. I cannot possibly accept all of them!
So to weed out the requests: Please READ and RESPOND to the "Additional Info/You Should Know" section of the "My Home" page in my profile.
Remember, Couchsurfing is about friendship and community, not just a free place to sleep! So please tell me a little bit about who you are and what you are doing :) I won't accept empty requests! Sorry!]
I love traveling and new friends, and actually experiencing the places that I am visiting instead of just seeing the touristy sides of things.
I traveled around Europe and the UK for 7 months in 2016 Couchsurfing and meeting people and having a grand old time; then again in 2017 for 4 months WWOOFing and Couchsurfing and galavanting about in Norway, Scotland, and France; as well as for 1 1/2 months in 2019 Couchsurfing and visiting friends in Scotland!
In between trips I hosted a bit and loved being able to give back to the CS community. I had a lot of fun, and now I am back with a home base again, and would love to continue hosting!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Some friends of mine back home were hosts, and whenever I showed up at their house, there were always the most interesting people there! I thought it sounded like a fantastic idea, and a great way to travel and meet new people and make new friends. I really like the community aspects of it, and have made some great connections and lifelong friends already. I can't wait to return the favor and host people now that I have a home base again!

Teach, Learn, Share
I love to exchange and share photography and filming techniques, and am quite happy to ramble on to interested folks about scuba diving. I am interested in learning whatever people are wanting to teach me. I will happily share meals, conversations, and good company!
