Meeting people around the world is one of the best parts of traveling. Learning where others have come from, hearing about their experiences, and even discovering more about the area through the people who live there always leads to fascinating conversations, and even stories! I would love to have the chance to meet individuals who have the opportunity to experience living in new areas. I feel that connecting to the people living in the areas you travel leads to a greater connection to wherever your feet happen to take you.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am an avid reader. It's fascinating to transport into a world someone has created simply by the flow of words taking off as far as the imagination desires to. My favorite genre involves fantasy and adventure. The Wheel of Time, by Robert Jordan is my favorite book series. I am constantly baffled by the numerous paths the story leads down, and find the plot to be absolutely fantastic. I must admit, one of my favorite movies, as well as trilogies is the Lord of the Rings, and Robert Jordan's universe shines about as equally as Tolkien's.
I have a very open taste in music. I tend to be drawn towards progressive music involved with the atmospheric/shoe gaze, post-rock, and electronic genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most spectacular things I've done was snorkeling in Hawaii. The diversity of wildlife, coral and plants is absolutely mesmerizing. It is a whole other world within our own!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am able to teach yoga, I have some knowledge on crochet, and also regarding climate change and human impact upon the planet. I am passionate about ecology and sustainability, and am always ready to share stories, information and laughs. I love to cook and create meals, and I am happy to help with cooking and cleaning up to do my share.
