Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Over the past year, I hosted dozens of travelers in previous houses. I didn't use couch-surfing, or even knew that it existed, but I loved nothing more than having happy travelers coming in and out of my life all the time. Its very refreshing. Now that this account exists, I'm looking forward to meeting new friends, sharing stories and seeing more of the world. Being a host opens up opportunity for everyone involved.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch-surfing experience has a fairytale beginning... the first house I ever couch-surfed at happens to be the house I currently live in. I was a third-time returning couch surfer to the Hideout in Portland and was looking for a place to live for a few months before I left the country. They had a room open and bang... here I am.

Interests

Planting things, helping those things grow... and eventually harvest those things, making tea, playing music, climbing trees, drinking GOOD beer (emphasis on good) laughing till my face turns red, freckles, oceans, Redwoods, hitch-hiking, couch-surfing, foraging, cooking without recipes, food not bombs, activism, productivity, healthy imaginations, lucid dreaming, forest frolicking, boys who don't care to shave (girls who don't either), sunrises, full moons, summer days, foreign languages, sound, hand tattoos, front-handsprings, fireflies, kombucha, weird names, and adventuring... boy, do i love adventuring.
