Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Although I haven't had any couch surfing experience via this community yet, I've done a decent amount of traveling and people all around the world have been courteous enough to give me their spare room, make a cozy bed for me on the couch or a comfy nest on the floor. I am so thankful for all of the people I've met and gotten to know throughout my travels and I can't wait to continue cultivating these friendships, starting new ones and sharing experiences! Take a look at the maps! I clearly need to travel more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One rainy day in Normandy, France a group of friends and I went to a cathedral to explore. We climbed to the top of the bell tower and looked out across the village. It was a beautiful day– warm, grey-blue skies, patches of sun. After taking in the moment, we turned and climbed down the stairs. When we re-entered the cathedral, my ears were met with the angelic sounds of the church choir, singing a hymn. The sound echoed through the nearly empty church, ringing sweetly and filling the entire room. The sound was so beautiful, I started to cry. I'll never forget that moment of peace, beauty and music.
