ABOUT ME

We're both positive people that can be pretty laid back, unless we're completely driven and inspired by something, then we can't sit still. As active as our lifestyle is, we really appreciate being able to sit around and enjoy silence or something peaceful. We both always wish we had more time to sit and read a book, but we love going out and being social as well. We love sitting and talking with friends around the living room with mugs of hot tea!

PHILOSOPHY

If you've ever watched "The Secret" or read "The Simple Abundance: A Daybook of Comfort and Joy", then you know what our personal philosophy on life is. The power of positive thinking and trying to not to stress ourselves out!

We had our first couchsurfing experience in March 2007, and have been hosting since.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We couchsurfed in Florence, Italy with Susanna and had an amazing time!
We have been fortunate to have wonderful guests since the spring of 2007, and become friends with them; hopefully we'll all keep in contact.

Music: all sorts, but we mostly listen to rock, funky indie artists, and classic jazz standards.
Movie: An Inconvenient Truth, 11th Hour, The Secret, Singing In The Rain, I *heart* Huckabees, Napolean Dynamite, Born Into Brothels.

We rode horses into the Grand Canyon and camped down inside next to the river and the thundering sound of the nearby waterfalls. Pretty much the most thrilling thing we've done so far.
