Overview
About Me
I am a deeply curious, unapologetically opinionated, passionately adventurous person with a spectacular propensity for mischief. I am a creative soul, I want to make things, do things, be challenged and inspired.
CURRENT MISSION
Live fully and utterly in the present, blossom into myself and explore every avenue.
To leave the planet a better place than we found it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am here ultimately because of a deep love and profound curiosity for exploring the world, and a desire to connect to other human beings from all around the world and all walks of life.
I am just beginning my CSer adventures of which I hope there are many, my experience or lack thereof is tempered however by my enthusiasm to meet all the wonderful people in this community.
Interests
I am a naturally inquisitive person, thus my interests and hobbies are endless and ever changing.
I am a foodie, a creative and am deeply invested in the state of our world. I live on sarcastic wit and spontaneous adventures.
At the moment I am curious to know and learn everything I can about pottery, yoga, meditation, fire twirling, winemaking, scuba diving, surfing, hiking, dancing (in all its forms), music, history, politics, anthropology, candle making, painting and the art of sculpture. Basically this is a never ending list.

Music, Movies, and Books
I grew up on the dulcet tones of musicians like Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Leonard Cohen, the Waifs, Jeff Buckley, Tracey Chapman, Missy Higgins, Tinpan Orange, Bob Dylan, Nina Simone, Bob Marley, Cat Stevens and all manner of folk, Australian or otherwise, but I'll listen to almost anything.
Some of my desert island must haves include; Al Green, Florence + The Machine, Noora Noor, Nina Simone, Solomon Burke, Paul Simon, Curtis Mayfield, Iyeoka, The Temptations, Ben E. King, Lord Echo, Lion Babe, Simon & Garfunkel, John Butler Trio, Glass Animals, Ásgeir and Stevie Wonder (Basically I will rock out to anything and everything, and jazz is a particular favourite for grooving.
I would be here all day if I tried to accurately articulate my love for literature. Some might call it an addiction. A few favourites include; Shantaram, Desert Flower, The Alchemist, I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings, Funny in Farsi and Lion.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled the world for a year and a half with just my my backpack and my inquisitive spirit.
•climbed into the Himalayas with no a guide, an Argentinian and a crazy Swedish chap in a fluorescent pink woollen jacket, twelve packets of uncooked ramen and seven samosas.
•Sat for ten days in silence and reflection, meditating with beautiful strangers and basking in exquisite transcendent evenings under balmy night skies with fireflies flying above our heads through the trees.
•Commandeered a canoe with a Frenchwoman and a Turkish lady and laughing, rowed away on a Laotian river under a full moon then swum in utterly clear water where we could see our toes.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can and would love to share rich, intriguing conversations over tea or tequila or wine. Or all three.
My intrigue places no limits and you can count me in for any exciting adventures you had in mind.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would be happy to run errands and/or help around your home in any way that I can, making your life easier in thanks for graciously hosting me, giving your time, shelter and company. I will cook you dinner, clean your digs and laugh at your jokes.
P.s. I know a fab family recipe for lemon tart and blackberry jam that will make you want to marry into my fam.
