ABOUT US

We are an italian latvian couple :) Married 4 years ago, spending all the time together (that's why we got married on the 24/7!), which includes running our itinerant italian restaurant "Lazanjas Republika" in Latvia.

Travelling around the world, discovering new cultures, having crazy adventures but still keeping a bit of our italianity (Tuscanity;)) and latvianity for Sigita!

We studied Communication in Pisa and Valmiera (Latvia) and had Erasmus experience in each other's country!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We "couchsurfed" in Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, Estonia, Transnistria and received people from Poland, China, France, Switzerland, Germany, Latvia, Finland, United States, Malta, Taiwan :) and we are looking forward to increase the number of these countries!! great experiences :)

Guess...? Travel of course :), Understand people (and we don't mean only how they speak), Communication (every possible kind of it), Psychology (we are not at all professionals but our personal life's experiences helped us to understand a lot), Football-Fiorentina (remember I'm Italian :)), History, Music (listen to it) and boh many other things but we already wrote too much :D

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Making a total surprise wedding-proposal in Iceland: December, snowy beach, -3°C, by night and swimming in the cold Atlantic Ocean right after giving the ring!

Buying a wedding dress in Albania with a broken leg!

Hitchhiking through 5 countries for 3 weeks, with 200€ total but still enjoying a lot the whole trip!

Visit Denmark for a week, (to see the Eurovision) and paying the whole trip just by collecting bottles and cans and recycling them!
