Hi! I’m Sávio, an economist and data scientist from Brazil, passionate about exploring both the world of numbers and the world itself. When I’m not analyzing data or diving into machine learning models, I’m probably planning my next trip, discovering new cultures, or sharing stories over good coffee (lactose-free for me!).

I believe education and curiosity can change lives — mine certainly did — and I’m always up for a good conversation about economics, technology, history, or just the quirks of everyday life. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds, exchanging experiences, and finding those little connections that make us realize how small (and amazing) the world really is.

I’ve been lucky to visit places like Japan and the US, and now I’m on a mission to explore more, especially Eastern Europe. I love walking around cities, trying local food, learning a few words in the local language, and getting tips from locals that no guidebook will ever tell you.

If we meet, expect kindness, genuine interest, and probably a few nerdy fun facts about economics or data science. I’m happy to share my culture, my language, and my stories — and to listen to yours.

I’m here because I believe travel is much more meaningful when you connect with locals and other travelers. Couchsurfing is not just about a place to stay — it’s about sharing experiences, learning from each other, and creating stories that you can’t find in a guidebook.

For me, the best part of any trip is meeting people who open their homes, hearts, and minds. I want to experience cities through the eyes of those who live there, and I’m happy to share my own culture, language, and stories in return.
