Hola ! Mi nombre es Savka, tengo 27 años.
Soy profesora de inglés de Chile, pero después de trabajar durante 4 años con niños pequeños en escuelas públicas decidí tomarme un año libre del trabajo para viajar y disfrutar la vida tanto como pueda.
Ya llevo 5 meses viajando de forma espontánea por Centroamérica y México. Realmente no tengo un itinerario ni un vuelo de regreso a casa, me gusta dejarme llevar y seguir las recomendaciones que otros viajeros han compartido amablemente conmigo.

Antes de regresar a Chile 🇨🇱 tengo muchas ganas de aprovechar al máximo esta increíble experiencia que tengo tanta suerte de vivir. Me he quedado mayormente en hostels pero me gustaría esta última parte del viaje vivirla de forma más local para poder sumergirme en la cultura mexicana de forma más auténtica!

Hi ! My name is Savka, I’m 27 years old.
I’m an English teacher from Chile but after working for 4 years with young kids in public schools I decided to take a year off from work to travel and enjoy life as much as I can.
I’ve been backpacking spontaneously for 5 months already through Central America and Mexico. I don’t really have an itinerary or a flight back home, I like to go with the flow and follow the recommendations other travelers have kindly shared with me.

Before coming back to Chile 🇨🇱 I really want to take the best out of this amazing experience I’m so lucky to be living. I’ve stayed mostly in hostels, but I would like to live this last part of my trip with locals so I can immerse myself in the Mexican culture in a more authentic way!

Me he alojado en hostales la mayor parte del tiempo y he conocido a muchos extranjeros que ahora son mis amigos, pero nunca tuve la oportunidad de conocer gente local porque siempre estoy en movimiento. Como mujer siempre hay que tener más precauciones al viajar pero quiero y dejar atrás el miedo para sacar lo mejor de esta experiencia y formar parte de esta increíble comunidad.

As a woman you always have to be more cautious when traveling but I want to leave the fear behind to make the best out of this experience and be part of this amazing community.

Some people say that Chilean accent is not the best to practice Spanish but at least I can try haha :) or we can exchange languages if you feel more comfortable! I love learning new things about everything from how to fix a bike to traveling tips or fun facts, etc ...
