ABOUT ME

When I decided to go to the US as an exchange student 10 years ago, i didn't imagine that this experience was going to have a huge impact on my life. This first "cultural shock" totally changed my personality, my perception and my priorities in life.

After returning back to my country, i was determined to study sociology at the university. While i was a student, i had several chances of visiting some countries and also making wonderful friends from all around the world.

Even though i like being a "tourist" in another country visiting museums and buildings, i'm much more interested in human beings; how the folks are living, how they are perceiving the world. I also adore how people visiting Turkey tend to notice small details which I didn't even think about before!

As you can imagine I love having conversations over politics, sociology, religion, cartoons, music, whether aliens do exist or not..well, i like exchanging ideas about everything actually!

I really don't know why I haven't joined CS before. I guess it was because my flat was already full of visiting friends all the time! But now that I graduated from the university, and everybody started settling and surviving in the monotony of life, I realized how empty i feel.

Interessi

Apart from being a sociologist and a manager, I'm an LGBT (lesbian, gay,bisexual and transgender) rights activist. I'm interested in anything within the scope of LGBT rights and human rights.
