Overview
About Me
I just finished a master's degree in folkloristics and applied heritage and now I'm traveling mostly for internships and just to meet amazing people!
CURRENT MISSION
To love, learn, and explore
ABOUT ME
I am a creatively minded individual in constant motion. I love music, art, good food, reading, and a good adventure. I find great solitude out in nature and spend warmer weather out in the sun hiking and exploring. I also enjoy organic agriculture.
PHILOSOPHY
I seek to explore the artistic nuances of everyday life and honor the remarkable beauty of simplicity. I am a quiet and reserved radical self-expressionist in constant (r)evolution.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would like to contribute to a community in which we can trust one another and have some fun along the way. I host folks when I can and have experienced remarkable hospitality as a couch surfer.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have hosted in Colorado and surfed in Canada and through Europe. I would love to make some more couch surfer friends!
Interests
I like to smile. I also enjoy art, music, nature, hiking, hats, food/cooking, Japanese language/culture, traveling, spirituality, sustainable organic farming, being in or near water/rivers/oceans, and I can never resist a good adventure!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been honored by the opportunity to take part in Ameri-Corps and worked with youth teaching non-violent conflict resolution modeled after Nobel Peace Prize winners.
Every time I travel I see, experience, and grow. I've roadtripped around the US and up into Canada for 2 months. I spent 10 days in Palestine/Israel. For 3 weeks I traveled around Japan. I have lived in northern France and traveled around Europe.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know basics about music, guitar, singing, and violin/viola. I love cooking, and sharing recipes. I know some basic Japanese. I'm into academics and have studied, genders/sexualities, cultural anthropology, social justice, and indigenous issues.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to cook you a meal, teach you some Japanese, ancient Hebrew, have a music jam, share some poetry, and become good friends. I would also love to host you some day and show you around my home Colorado!
