ABOUT ME

Hey everybody! I live in a social commune along with 9 other friends around my age, we live in Haifa in a mixed neighborhood of Jews and Arabs. I'm an active member in a social organization which struggles to promote social equality and solidarity between both nations, for welfare, peace and the end of the Israeli occupation!
I'm a spontaneous person, and I'll find it hard to refuse a cool and crazy offer for an interesting thing to do! (:
I have a lot of cool friends to introduce and I'll always be happy to meet new ones

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I feel like I know so little about the world...
I keep thinking that there's a whole world of cultures and people outside of my country that I never got to know.
I would like to travel as many as I can, go as far as possible, meet new people and try and get to know their lives from close up.

I believe that as much as I know more and expose myself to variety of opinion, I could learn more about myself.
I think it's the best way to examine what I believe in, how I think the world should look like and what kind of person I want to be.
In return, I want to expose you to how I look at Israel- the beautiful and less beautiful sides, the disagreements, the magnificent history and the complicated reality that relies in it nowadays.

I would like to open my house and my soul solidarity to all. That's what the world needs right now in order to become better, I do believe it.

Interests

Music is one of the biggest things in my life and I listen to all kinds of music (now mostly progressive rock, techno, minimal and oriental music) In the past year I started playing the flute!
I'm a travel loving person! although I didn't get the chance to travel a lot around the world, I traveled all Israel and I know all the worthwhile places (:
Politics is one of my interests. I get to participate in political discussions and protests.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, it's really hard to choose, but I think that one of the most amazing things that I've ever seen was a Rogger Waters' concert at 2006. ever since I was 12 years old I had A dream to be at a Pink Floyd live show, and it felt like it (almost) came true...

I'll be happy to share my cooperative way of living with you, our social ideology and invite you to get to know it and the unique culture we share from close up.
I'll be glad to tell you about the hottest spots in Israel, interesting pubs and in which intersection you wouldn't want to hitchhike unless you're looking for a wait of 3 hours minimum :)

I can also share some knowledge about politics, socialism, history, and music.
