About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My life for the past couple of years has been traveling and attending parties and music festivals and exploring the world.

I then made it to Asia and finally settled in Da Nang, Viet Nam after traveling the US and then transversing the world via Mexico, Iceland, London, Brussels, Hungary, Croatia, Prague, Vienna, Berlin, The Netherlands, Cologne, Cyprus, Israel, Thailand, Malaysia, and Cambodia.

People always ask if I'm in a location for work or holiday. I am always on holiday and I am always working :)

ABOUT ME

I am extremely optimistic but also try to be pragmatic as well. I do my best to live life to the fullest! I tend to be shy and quiet at first at times but open up when with the right people, the right energy, and the right atmosphere. I've had quite an interesting life and tend to take things day by day.

Life is random and has its random mishaps and experiences and an infinite amount of variables. It is what you do with those mishaps and experiences that matter and how you account for the myriad of variables. I have lived an extraordinary life that has had its fair share of crazy experiences and moments and I will admit I have a few regrets but without failure there's no success. There's no way to learn.

I am living the dream and making a living doing what I love and won't let anything or anyone stop me or get in the way of that.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is all about survival! If you can survive through the roughest of times and enjoy and cherish the greatest of times then that is all that matters :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to share my travels and adventures and experiences with hosts and when I am hosting I love to hear about traveler's adventures and experiences and meet people from all walks of life from all over the world.

I hope to utilize this amazing site to go on some outstanding adventures with some incredible people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time I ever couchsurfed was after I got fired from my job in Richmond, VA and then decided to head up to New York City to promote nightclubs. I didn't know anyone to stay with and had very little money left and one of my friends suggested Couchsurfing. I didn't know what the site was about and thought it was just people offering a free place to stay but then I quickly learned that it was much more than that. Since then I have only hosted a couple of couchsurfers but I have couchsurfed in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and Austin Texas, Brussels, Austria, The Netherlands, Cyprus, and Israel. They have all been very interesting and different experiences and I have met a wide array of people off of this site. I also have made some friends through the hangouts who I still communicate with regularly.

Interests

From a young age I was always highly involved in music. My mom was a music teacher and many of my family played instruments, sung, and was involved with music somehow. With music comes concerts, festivals, and lots of socializing and having fun and being silly. I love the water and being at the beach but also love the mountains and the outdoors. I am not the biggest of sports fans but I do love to watch a great American football, soccer, hockey, baseball, or basketball game as well as racing (not Nascar) and extreme sports such as snowboarding, skateboarding, motorcross, bmx, etc. I'm a huge fan of music obviously and am well informed and knowledgeable about the history and scene of house and techno as well as jam bands and live music. I love interesting and unique adventures that allow me to share stories and have one of a kind experiences. I'm not a picky eater but enjoy tasty and healthy food like anyone else. I just like being surrounded by authentic people who also have unique and interesting experiences to share.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love house, techno, reggae, classic rock, old school and underground hip hop, and everything in between.

My favorite movies are comedies such as Grandma's Boy, Old School, Don't Be A Menace to South Central, Dirty Work, and old school Adam Sandler.

I also love mob and mafia movies and any action thrillers or philosophical movies.

Where The Buffalo Roam will Bill Murray related to Hunter S. Thompson's wild and crazy antics relates a bit to my life but not necessarily as extreme.

As for books I love anything that educates me or inspires me. Richard Dawkins, Jeremy Narby, and Alvin Toffler.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once swam next to a six foot Baracuda in key west. The guy running the boat told us to keep swimming and try not to panic, make sure that you don't look it in its eyes. He said that if we looked like we were struggling that it might get interested and call its friends. I had one swim right next to me and I was still as could be. I've done many amazing things though but it says to just say one.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you anything you want to know about electronic music and the party business and scene and I can also tell you where and what some of the best festivals in the world are. I have a way with words and am always trying to share my philosophies and ways of life. I have quite a lot of knowledge in my head and love to share it with anyone willing to have an open mind and listen. I'm always gathering new information and sharing it with others.

I have an altrustic mindset and feel as if nothing should go to waste or be in excess.

Life is all about keeping a balance and finding an equilibrium. What you give you get back.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help clean your place, help with cooking food (although not the greatest of cooks), and if you are a house or techno DJ...I can help educate you on the ins and outs of the industry. This is all aside from some amazing stories and experiences and just offering my company and great times!
